Sobre Alexandre Fachada
Alexandre Fachada nasceu em Lisboa, em 31 de Maio de 1977. Foi inspirado na arte fotográfica pelo seu pai, que era fotógrafo amador e que lhe ensinou o básico de como tirar fotografias numa icónica Canon EX EE. Enquadramento, focagem e disparo no momento certo eram os objectivos nesta altura. A sua primeira memória de uma foto reportagem, foi quando estava na escola primária, numa visita de estudo à Batalha, Fátima e Nazaré, por volta de 1986 ou 1987. A câmara utilizada foi uma Agfamatic 108 e os resultados não foram nada maus.
Estudou fotografia durante um ano no IADE Creative University e lá teve a oportunidade de aprender algumas técnicas laboratoriais, explorando o conhecimento da Arte e da Fotografia a Preto e Branco.
Paisagem, Retrato, Música e Surf são as suas áreas preferidas, mas foi na fotografia de Vida Nocturna que começou a trabalhar. Trabalhou durante 10 anos em discotecas na área de Lisboa, Seixal, Almada e Montijo. Desde 2012 que se dedica em exclusivo à fotografia de Paisagem e de Surf. Também decidiu começar a tirar alguns cursos online como “The Camera Never Lies”, da Universidade de Londres no site Coursera e completou o curso de Fotografia Digital na Accademia domani de Roma, Itália.
Alexandre Fachada was born in Lisbon on 31st of May 1977. He was inspired by the photographic art by his father, who was an amateur photographer and who taught him the basics of how to take photographs in an iconic Canon EX EE. Framing, focus and shooting at the right time were the objectives at this time. His first memory of a photo report, was in primary school, on a field trip to Batalha, Fátima and Nazaré, around 1986 or 1987. The camera used was an Agfamatic 108 and the results were not bad...
He Studied photography during a year at the IADE Creative University and there he had the opportunity to learn some laboratory techniques, exploiting the knowledge of Art and Photography in black and white.
Landscape, Portrait, Music and Surf are his favorite areas, but it was in nightlife photography that he started working. He worked for 10 years in clubs in the Lisbon area, Almada, Seixal and Montijo. Since 2012 he started to dedicate exclusively to Landscape and Surf Culture. Also decided to start taking some courses online as "The Camera Never Lies", the University of London on the website Coursera and completed the Digital photography course at the Accademia Domani of Rome, Italy.
